Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Surface Diamond Driller, you will be responsible for:
- Safe and efficient operation of surface diamond drill rigs
- Leading and mentoring Offsiders on safe practices and procedures
- Managing sample quality and liaising with site geologists
- Conducting pressure grouting and other drilling tasks as required
- Completing safety inspections and accurate paperwork
- Set up, breakdown and relocating rigs and support gear
- Maintaining rigs, tools and vehicle cleanliness and functionality
What You Need to Bring
To be considered, you must have:
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- Cert III in Drilling (or working toward completion)
- Minimum 2 to 4 years surface diamond drilling experience
- Manual C Class licence
- National Police Clearance from the past 3 months
- A strong safety mindset and ability to lead by example
- Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
HR or 4WD qualifications will be highly regarded.
